Inspired by Christian artists from our own childhood and a desire to separate ourselves from modern music trends we've arrived at an energy driven blend of our childhood favorites, with serious classic rock influences, mixing at times with a laid back surf-rock vibe. While bouncing ideas off of each other after dismantling their previous band, front man - Tyler Melashenko and bassist - Joel Sellers began to conceptualize what would become Stereo Jesus. Derivative of Tyler's observations on the modern-day over commercialization of Christianity, the name unknowingly stood out as both an attention grabber and as a lighthearted take on those initial observations. Hailing from North Carolina the band has chosen Texas as home base for both it's hospitality and musical community. We are essentially 4 personalities driven by our creativity, our love of music, and our love for God. Desiring to make a change in how todays youth are taught to view and live out their faith.

We've proven that the Carolinas can dance in 2007 with "So They Think you Can't Dance."

We've proven that the Carolinas can sing in 2006 with "Youth Councils Idol."

This year, we're going to prove that "Carolina's Got Talent"
